Spring Thunder Medical Qigong - Level 1 Self-Cultivation

 

Classes are currently held at Integrated Massage & Wellness at 45 Pointe Pl, Dover, NH

Dates: 4 Saturdays, July 13, July 27, August 3, 10, Time: 10AM - 12AM

No pre-requisites

In this first level of Spring Thunder Medical Qigong you will be immersed in the beautiful and intricate world of Qigong and Self-Healing.  Classes will be designed based on the participants who register for the series.  Practices will include standing practices, sitting practices, and walking practices.  Practices will be derived from the Mt Qingcheng medical healing branch, classical medical qigong, and various other sources.   We will also use mudras and mantras.  Some possible practices will be Zhang Zhuang, Bagua, Tiger Qigong, Pyramid Qigong, Fire Dragon Qigong, Swimming Dragon Qigong, Lao Tzu Qigong, and more.  The goal of this first level is to dive deep into the physical and mental for those who want to heal themselves with the goal of also being able to heal others in the future.  This class will be especially useful for Reiki practitioners, massage therapists, acupuncturist, and those who are ready and willing to overcome obstacles in healing chronic conditions.

Please wear loose fitting clothes and flat tennis sneakers or Taiji shoes

Tai Chi Class for Beginners Series #4

 

Classes are currently held at Integrated Massage & Wellness at 45 Pointe Pl, Dover, NH

Section 4 of the CPL Short Form

When: For 6 Wednesdays,  May 29 2024 thru July 3rd,  from 6pm-7pm

No pre-requisites

Taijiquan is an ancient martial art that combines movement, breath, martial arts, and yin and yang philosophy together. The movements are all done standing and are typically done slowly and gracefully. In this Section 3 course* of the beginner's Taijiquan (Tai Chi) series, we will cover movements 25-34 of the 42 movement Chen Pan Ling Short Taijiquan form. You will also learn the basic energetics of each movement, and Qigong exercises to build physical and internal strength.

*The 42 Form is broken down into 5 sections total.  Each section is independent of the other so you may join at any section.

Introduction and Foundations of Tai Chi  No current dates scheduled

Taijiquan is an ancient martial art that combines movement, breath, martial arts, and yin and yang philosophy together. The movements are all done standing and are typically done slowly and gracefully. In this Introduction and Foundations of Tai Chi, you will discover how Tai Chi can help you build a strong body and mind through slow and graceful movements.  You will learn basic alignments in Tai Chi, the do's and don'ts, standing in Wuji, yin and yang theory, Tai Chi Walking, the foundational forces of Peng and Lu, as well as  begin developing  strong mind and body coordination.  Tai Chi has many health benefits such as blood circulation, reducing high blood pressure, reducing and preventing arthritic pains, decreasing insomnia, increasing balance, and mcuh more.
